Program Overview
The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducts the Higher Secondary School Teacher (HSST) recruitment. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks (recognized by any University in Kerala) along with B.Ed. in the concerned subject or M. Ed. Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) in the concerned subject conducted by the Government of Kerala or equivalent examinations recognized by the State. Candidates must clear a written examination conducted by KPSC which has an objective type test, usually for 100 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes duration. The syllabus includes subject-specific questions, general knowledge, and teaching aptitude. Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for an Interview. Final rank lists are prepared based on performance in written exam + interview.
