About North East SLET:
The North-East State Level Eligibility Test (SLET), conducted by the Assam Commission, is a gateway to becoming an Assistant Professor in the region. Eligible candidates include General/EWS category aspirants with at least 55% marks and SC/ST/PwD/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in their Master’s degree or equivalent (no rounding off). With no upper age limit, this test provides a lifetime-valid Pass Certificate, enabling successful candidates to apply for Assistant Professor roles across the Member-States under the SLET Commission.
