Program overview
The West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET) is a state-level examination conducted by the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in colleges and universities across West Bengal.
The exam consists of two objective-type papers conducted in a single session, with no negative marking:
- Paper I: 50 general teaching and research aptitude questions for 100 marks
- Paper II: 100 subject-specific questions for 200 marks
