Is Vallath and TES the same?

Yes! TES (Total English Solutions) was started by Dr Kalyani Vallath to make the depth of literature available for students in a lively, engaging way. Recently, TES has been rebranded as Vallath (drawing from the name of Dr Kalyani Vallath). It retains the same quality, style of and teaching, led by Dr Kalyani. Over time, we will be bringing out more courses and programmes, relevant for you. Look out for updates from us.

Is there a difference between online and offline programmes?

Both online and offline programmes are exhaustive covering all topics for NET and consist of lectures, notes and quizzes. Either programme can be selected by both beginners and advanced students.

However, both are structured slightly differently. Due to the physical nature of offline classes, it allows for more teaching hours, more activities and individual attention to students. Online programmes are usually conducted only in the evenings to make them accessible for working professionals as well. They have the advantage of being accessible on any device and are available to you for a lifetime.

Students can pick either one based on their convenience and priority.

I can’t decide between pre-recorded courses or live classes. Which is better?

It depends on your requirements. Live classes provide daily motivation and continuous learning support. This is along with in-depth lectures, a large quantity of PDF notes, printed books as well as quizzes. The rapid fire sessions by Dr Kalyani Vallath and the live revision done by the team has helped many students clear NET.

Recorded classes cost less and are good for students who are self-motivated and learn in a self-paced manner. Recorded classes are also comprehensive and involve PDF notes, some live revision and power sessions by Dr Kalyani Vallath.
