About Gujarat SET
Gujarat SET is a state level exam conducted by the Gujarat College Service Commission. Eligibility to write this SET exam is similar to that of NET. The candidates are selected on the basis of the marks acquired in the written examination, comprising two papers. The syllabus of Gujarat SET is also similar to that of NET. Cracking this exam will open up opportunities for growth and career advancement in the field of academia, particularly for the position of Assistant professors in colleges and universities in Gujarat. Qualifying Gujarat SET also makes the candidates eligible for applying PhD in different universities in Gujarat.

This includes the major movements, authors, their works and writing styles of each era. The course also dives into the development of the English language, and the various socio-political influences from the time of Plato to postmodernism. The program includes literature from several countries such as America, India, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Ireland.
Along with Preparation for the NET Exam, this course focuses on professional development and career grooming. It introduces students to opportunities beyond teaching, such as research, publishing, journalism, management, media, and various kinds of writing. After this course, research enthusiasts will have well-developed research skills, and the ability to select their research area with clarity and confidence. Similarly, those who wish to explore and pursue alternate careers will get knowledge and exposure through workshops.
